I love Pixel art, it is an easy to draw art style that allows you full creative control over what you are creating and as you are literally drawing it pixel by pixel, it doesn’t require much skill; just patience.
For Kobold Quest we wanted something that could be feasibly done by one person and still look attractive and I feel that Pixel art fulfils that. Also the fact that Piskel.com was free to use made it all the more appealing.
